The Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation is a charitable fundraising organisation and one of the largest fund raisers to heart, lung and vascular disease research in Sweden. By raising awareness of the diseases, the research helps save lives and give people more healthy years to live.
The purpose of the booklets is to provide diseased and their relatives with relevant information about the diseases and how it is to live with it. It is to be seen as a complementary source of information where there often is little information to get.
With easy to understand infographics and relevant statistics, readers are presented to facts about various heart, lung and vascular diseases in each booklet. The purpose is an informative and easy-to-read information that creates interest and curiosity without discourage.
The writings can be ordered through the Swedish Heart-Lung Foundation and through various care centres around Sweden.
