GROW BOX
A self-watering, low maintenance, hydroponic plant kit that allows office workers to take advantage of the natural benefits that plants have to offer. The Grow Box system has been designed to improve social engagement in offices, subtly connecting both new and existing workers into the office community.
THE CONCEPT
The product can be sold directly to individual consumers however is primarily targeted towards office managers who want to improve the social engagement and communal culture of their workplace. The end user in this scenario is individual office workers. Kit contents: Cork lid/base, nutrient pellets, seedling packet, hydroponic clay balls, instruction/information card

FEATURES
The design features an injection moulded body manufactured from cloudy semi-transparent white polypropylene. After moulding the body is finished by bead blasting to remove the weld lines along the centre. The CNC machined cork lid is used as a base and stand once the Grow Box is set-up. It fits into the bottom of the body and provides traction to percent sliding on the desk. Magnetic corners allow the Grow Boxes to connect together and form a hub.

PRODUCT RANGE
The full Grow Box range include the Herb Box unit. This product follows the same philosophy as the desk box and further enhances social engagement as employees are given the responsibility to care for the herb garden between them.
