On the night of September 29th, 2009, Jazz Mafia's funk/hip-hop/soul outfit, Supertaster, were scorching the small SF Club Coda. Swingin' hard and loose, in perfect harmonic syncronicity, their soul funk melodies boogied along with a back beat so filthy fierce that this night the sound waves had hips of their own, dancing upon the eardrums of all those in attendance.
As vibrations boomed out into the dark city streets, a man with mo-town ears stopped in his track upon hearing them, promptly turned around, and entered into a show unlike any other.
