Official Crest Redesign
Passion project turned 'official' for the rebrand and design of the Kenningwell United Football Club crest.
Kenningwell UTD was founded in 1967 and currently play in the Orpington & Bromley District Sunday Football League (OBDSFL). Premier Winners 17/18
The clubs current crest is made up of the teams name and founding date; along with the club motto 'Anno Tigre' encircling the depiction of a tigers head (emblem).
Existing Crest
In my opinion this crest lacks any shape or structure and needs to be modernised and brought up to date. I aim to maintain the clubs identity on my version by using the colours seen on the existing scheme as well as utilising the clubs emblem of a tiger as the main focus point of
the design.

Above is a mock up of a more simplified crest. Here the main circular shield and main type elements depicted on the main crest design have been removed. On the existing crest used by the club the motto 'Anno Tigre' is used. On this design I decided to utilise this to go with the tiger emblem on its own.
Having a simplified design that directly relates to the main crest and is identifiable broadens the uses the club has to depict their identity on different mediums. From kit and apparel to merchandise and media; there now is a choice as to what is used.
