/pahr-tee/
noun

// architecture
The big idea behind the design of the project. It signifies an architect's overall guiding idea for a design. As such, a parti typically has less to do with technical, financial and utilitarian issues and more to do with view, massing, scale, transparency, opaqueness and other architectural issues.

Structures and definitions have change accordingly to the changing time, and this issue of PARTI thinks that temporary architecture can be the next big thing (if not outright the answer).

It is something which seems to exist beyond its original context. Something less of permanent consequence, but more of playful exploration. Something which can be taken apart, broken down and build back up, something which changes according to context.

As such, in visual and format translation, PARTI takes the form of large newspaper prints, with its spreads loose from each other, allowing it to continue existing as individual posters if its magazine days come to their end.
