Communication concept
Tongelre has been a district of the municipality of Eindhoven since 1920 and with the 100th anniversary of the football club Tongelre (formerly “Roman Catholic Football Association Tongelre”), they are looking for a recognizable rebranding of what used to be the football club. With the image damage and the club financially on an abyss, it is up to the municipality of Eindhoven to hold the club.
With the vision of an innovative look, more concerning social activities and saving the club, I started working on the rebranding for Tongelre.
Creative concept
The insignia of Tongelre is not only recognizable for the association but also for the district of Tongelre, and with that vision I gave the old insignia a new look.
To the former Football association Tongelre to become an omni association that stands for development, a better image and more involvement with the rest of the city.
Proposition
With the retained colors red and white on the clothing and the old Tongelre insignia in a new look, Tongelre now stands for more than a football club alone.
