What had inspired me to produce this film was pure imagination I wanted to create something on my own so I decided to go with a story about a guy who was locked inside of a room and what you see through out the film is his thoughts. Throughout the film you see what our character sees until he wakes up and finds himself confused when he was locked in a room with the Elf on the shelf being the reason why he is there since the character is delusional.
                                                 Design choices
I had chose to use the elf on the shelf to represent the evil entity that was seen a couple of times through out the film. The beginning of the movie is where it really takes place as it transitions over to what we will be seeing through out the film until we see that it was all just a Figment in the head of our character.
I had used Premiere pro to edit my scenes together and color correction to make some scenes seem a little darker or lighter than others. Another thing I had fun with was editing the music trying to match it with my film indicating my character wishing he had not woken up since he was delusional making him feel unsafe.
I am not very good with After Effects so learning how to make stuff I wanted for my film was a hassle but after getting used to it and watching tutorials I got the hang of some stuff and animated a Logo, Scenes, and, my end credits inside of After effects.
