Elastični prolaz | Životni prolaz
Prolazi su sastavni deo svakog objekta ili urbanističke celine, definišemo ih kao tunele, podrume, mostove, granične prelaze, hodnike itd… Na prolaze možemo da gledamo kao na putokaze u neki novi prostor, one koji navode i usmeravaju pojedinca. Prolazi postoje u različitim oblicima i u samim ljudima i drugim živim bićima i organizmima. To mogu biti kapilari, krvni sudovi, vene, različiti kanali u ogranizmu. Čak i vrlo jednostavni organizmi kao što su sunđeri sačinjeni su od niza šupljina drugim rečima prolaza. U širem smislu prolaz simbolizuje potragu, put koji jedinka prelazi da bi došla do nekog cilja, kraja ili novog početka.
Smisao životnog puta je tematika kojom su se bavili mnogi teoretičari, filozofi, sociolozi, istoričari, a do samog zaključaka ipak svako od nas mora da dođe sam za sebe. U današnjem društvu svako traga za nekim smislom, svrhom nadajući se da će pronaći neko rešenje i konačno ispunjenje. Ako ustanovimo zašto se baš mi nalazimo ovde i koji je moj ili životni put bilo koje osobe najbolje ćemo moći da iskoristimo vreme koje provodimo na ovoj planeti. Razmišljajući o ovome već smo na pola puta do rešenja ili samog ključa progresije čovečanstva. Ako smo već ovde želim da verujem da je to sa razlogom. Mi imamo samo put, a ,,život je u putu, ne na kraju’’. Drugim rečima taj put je predstavljen kroz vreme, Gi Debor u svojoj knjizi ,,Društvo spektakla’’ kaže:,, Ni smrt, ni prokreacija ne shvataju se kao zakon vremena. Vreme ostaje nepomično, kao zatvoreni prostor.’’[1] Na vreme gledam kao dar, usmerivač i podsetnik za traganjem, merač našeg životnog puta koji treba pravilno upotrebiti i iskoristiti.
Instalaciju ,,Životni prolaz’’ možemo da tumačimo kao malo izmenjeni dijagram puta života bića. Instalacija se sastoji od 33 kružnice koje počinju najmanjim prstenom koji se zatim ravnomerno povećava, a potom i smanjuje do veličine sa početka makete. Broj 33 predstavlja dužinu života Isusa Hrista dok je bio na ovoj zemlji i tako simboliše život svakoga od nas. Poslednja kružnica je crne boje i prikazuje kraj života dok su ostale kružnice providne pa predstavljaju putanje koje su još uvek promenljive, sagledive sa različitih pogleda i perspektiva. Prolaz koji formiraju kružnice ima formu koja je najšira na sredini pa se sužava prema njenim krajevima. Ovakav prolaz, kao i sve drugo, ima svoj početak i kraj. Između ove dve drastične kategorije nalaze se mnoge putanje. One svoju kulminaciju kod prosečne osobe imaju na njenom središnjem delu života. Ovo je najdominantniji deo svake jedinke i predstavlja zrelost kroz mnogo različitih aspekata. Cela instalacija podseća na čauru, elastičnu [2] opnu iz koje izlazi leptir, simbol novog početka. Tako i život jednog bića iako ima određen period trajanja, može ponovo da se rodi tako što će biti životna inspiracija nekom novom biću ili podariti novi život kao kod rođenje deteta.
Svi prstenovi osim poslednjeg su načinjeni od providne folije koja simboliše promenljivost delova života, njihovu elastičnost i nepredvidljivost kakav je i sam materijal. Elastičnost, fleksibilnost i dramatičnost materijala se povećava zajedno sa povećanjem dimenzije prstena i obrnuto, ovo simboliše mogućnost izgradnje ličnosti u različitim periodima u životu. Poslednji prsten je od crnog hamera koji je krut i ne tako fleksibilan kao što je to folija pa tako predstavlja kraj puta jedinke.
Životni put svake osobe je sačinjen od različitih elastičnih putanja koje možemo da objedinimo u jedan elastičan prolaz. Svaki od ,,prstenova’’ predstavlja neku celinu koju svako od nas prelazi, ostavlja za sobom, zatvara poput kružnice i prelazi na izgradnju nove koja je veća ili manja po svom obimu odnosno značenju. Različiti segmenti života su predstavljeni prstenovima zbog simbolike koju nosi krug. Kružno kretanje predstavlja savršenost našeg mikrokosmosa u nesavršenom makro svetu u kome svim tragamo za nečim. Prokolo kaže: ,,Sve kružnice se nalaze u središtu kruga koji je njihov početak i kraj.’’ Tako krug možemo da posmatramo kao obris uveličane tačke koja je srž svega.
Žak Lakan opisuje ljudsku egzistenciju i način odnošenja pojedinca u svetu kroz svoju teoriju simboličkog, realnog i imaginarnog reda. Svet okružuje i obuhvata pojedinca koji se u njemu nalazi svojim slikama, jezikom i vrednostima dok sam pojedinac vidi svet na tri nivoa:
1. Simbolički nivo/ nivo značenja
2. Imaginarni nivo (imago)/ jedan broj značenja se stvara kroz slike
3. Realni nivo/ nivo svakodnevnog života, podređen simboličkom značenju.[3]
On ovaj pojam opisuje kao prostor između živih i mrtvih ili kao ,,sve ono što bi trebalo da ostane skriveno, ali i pored svega izlazi na videlo.’’ Ono što ih spaja je činjenica da je uvek reč o različitim vrstama odnosa koji determinišu prostor. Tako možemo da zaključimo da nema prostora bez života/ subjekta ali i obrnuto. Život odnosno njegovo značenje i delovanje kroz sve ove različite nivoe je ono što stvara prostor stvarnim.
Ovaj prostor možemo da posmatramo kao prolaz. Njega formiraju različiti životi koji su međusobno sukobljeni kroz odnose. Skup svih ovih prostornih prolaza stvaraju ovaj svet. Pored ovih odnosa svako utiče na prolaz i doprinosi njegovom formiranju tako što odgovara na različite okolnosti, dešavanja, prilike, odluke itd…Ako ovako posmatramo životni prolaz onda na njega nećemo da gledamo kao prostor kojem mi služimo samo da bi ga ispunili već kao sredstvo za uzajamnu mogućnost naših međusobnih odnosa, prostor našeg ličnog ispunjena i napretka čovečanstva. Životni prolaz je prostor koji nam daje mogućnost da pokažemo sve ono što treba da izađe na videlo i bude inspiracija za stvaranje sledećeg.

Elastic passage | Life passage
Passages are an integral parts of every building or urban area, we define them as a tunnels, cellars, bridges, border crossings, corridors, etc. We can talk about passages as a signs in space, the ones that are showing the way to an individual.
The passages exist in different forms in the very human being and also in other living creatures and organisms. For example passages can be capillaries, blood vessels, veins or many other part in organism. Even very simple organisms such as sponges are made up of a number of cavities/ passages.
In a wider sense, the passage symbolizes the search, the path that the individual passes to reach a goal, end or a new beginning.
The meaning of the life is a topic dealed by many theorists, philosophers, sociologists, historians, however, each of us must come to conclusion by himself. In today's society, everyone seeks for some sort of purpose, hoping to find some solution and ultimate fulfillment. If we find out why we are right here and which is our life path, we will be able to take the most advantages in the time spend on this planet.
Discussing about this, we are halfway to the solution or on the way to find a the key to the progression of mankind. If we're here already, o this planet, I want to believe it's for a reason. We have only a path of our life, "life is happening on the path, not at the end of life". In other words, this path is presented by time, Guy Debord in his book, "The Society of the spectacle" says: "Neither death, nor procreation are understood as the law of time. Time remains immovable, as an enclosed space.''[1]
I personally define time as a gift, a sign and a search reminder, a gauge of our life course that needs to be properly used.
The installation "Life passage" "can be interpreted as a little modified diagram of the beings life.
The installation consists 33 circles that begin with the smallest ring and then increases and decreases equally to the beginning size of the model. Number 33 represent aged of Jesus Christ while he was on this earth symbolizing the each of us.
The last circle is black and represents the end of life, while the other circles are transparent and represent paths that are still variable, viewed from many different views and perspectives.
The passage which is formed by circles is widest in the middle and decreases towards its ends. This passage, like others, has its beginning and the end. There are many paths between these two drastic categories. Culmination take place in the average person on its middle part. This is the most dominant part of every individual and represents a culmination through a multitude of different aspects. The whole installation resembles the cocoon, the elastic membrane from which the butterfly emerges, a symbol of a new beginning. Even the life although it is limited can be born again by being a living inspiration to other being or by giving a new life to the birth of a child.
All rings, except the latter, are made of transparent film that symbolizes the variability of parts of life, their elasticity and unpredictability as the material itself is.
The elasticity, flexibility and drama of the material increases with the increase in the ring dimension, and vice versa, this symbolizes the ability to build a other personality at different parts of life.
The last ring is from a black paper that is rigid and not as flexible as foil, so it represent the end of the individual’s life.
The life path of each person is composed of different elastic paths that can be joined into an elastic passageway. Each of the "rings" represents the path that each of us passes, leaves behind, closes as a circle and switches to the new one that is larger or smaller in its shape or meaning. Different segments of life are represented by rings because of the symbolism of the circle.
Circular motion represents the perfection of our microcosm in a dysfunctional macro world in which we all search for something. Prokolo says: "All circles are at the center of the circle, which is their beginning and end." We can observe circle as an overview of the point, which is the essence of everything.
Jacques Lacan describes the human existence and way of individual behave through his theory of symbolic, real and imaginary order. The world surrounds and encompasses the individual with his pictures, language and values while the individual sees the world in three levels:
1. Symbolic level / meaning level
2. Imaginary level (imago) / a number of meanings is created through images
3. Realisticlevel / level of everyday life, subordinated to the symbolic meaning.
We can link this with Freud's term "Das Unheimliche".[2] He describes this notion as a space between the live and the dead individuals or as "everything that should remain hidden, but nevertheless comes up." What connects them is the fact that it is always a matter of different types of relationships that determine the space . So we can conclude that there is no space without life / subject, and vice versa. Life, its meaning and action through all these different levels is what creates space and makes him real.
Now, we can define this space as a passage. It is formed by different lives that are interconnected through relationships. A set of all these spatial passages create this world.
In addition to these relationships, everyone influences to the passage and contributes to its formation by responding to different circumstances, events, opportunities, decisions, etc.
If we analyze the passage of life, then we will not consider it as a space that to witch we served only to fulfill it but as an asset for the mutual possibility of our relations, the space of our personal fulfillment and the progress of mankind. Living passage is a space that gives us the opportunity to show everything that needs to be seen and be the inspiration for creating the next life.
