Spirit Beach Racquet
This Racquet was designed by Rio 21 Design for Spirit. This was the first time ever that an injection molded beach racquet was successfully produced. The body was injected in PP using expanding agent in order to reduce around 30% its density. We had to create a cooling device to hold the injected body to avoid its excessive expansion. We also designed a hand operate cutting device to discard the flash from the part.
