We tell various stories for personal, gift, couple, children, wedding and other special request. The illustration is based on my interpretation of the poetry. I usually slip in little elements and details too (sometimes by request). I use the person’s favourite colour as the main colour and
give touch of other colours based on the poetry mood. Here's the couple series.
The artwork on the left is a sweet gratitude gift to his girlfriend who always be there for him through ups and down. She always behind his back whenever he needs support to achieve his dream career. She feels safe to be with him too. Both of them are one of a kind couple who enjoys exciting adventures together and lighten the room they are in.
The right artwork is dedicated to an adorable couple. They’ve been together since the first year of high school and went through thick and thins together ever since. He’s not a typical romantic guy with flowers and fine dining for an anniversary celebration, but he made it once after all this time. And she remembers it as he also proposed to her. To keep all those sweet memories altogether, I illustrate them riding a hot air balloon with flowers and wine as they’ll start a new journey together in the near future.
This is a piece for an anniversary of long distance relationship couple. Moments together is really precious for them as they live in different countries. They have dreams of travelling and get lost in beautiful places, especially in nature around Indonesia. They favour historical visits or nature trips, but each other presence is what they cherish all the time.
[L-R] : The illustration of a couple walking in the piano stairs is a gift from their best friend. The couple love music and Christmas so much that I made a "Christmas Tree" out of piano tuts for them. We wish them both to keep walking together as they're going on a new life path together.
Following piece is an anniversary gift for a couple who cherish simple little things they did together. The togetherness itself is the key for them that they enjoy the moment staying at home watching TV together. Their presences colour each other life.
The right artwork is a wedding gift to a hard working-humble couple. On most of their weekends they studied together to complete the further courses they took. They share the same liking of coffee and believe in God in everything they do as seen Biblical elements in the illustration.
This one is a piece from this couple’s wedding vows booklet. Happiness is really crucial for them, especially for the groom. He always wants to make his bride happy and they do share dream of travelling together. As they are going to a new life journey together, I illustrate them to get into flowery-hot air balloon. The flowers were the ones decorated their wedding day as well. They symbolise purity and everlasting love.
