The project was an experiment in generative design.

 

Using algorithms to explore form, we looked for emerging patterns and ideas, and combined them with design to create code–driven compositions. The project deliverables were: four 24" by 36" posters integrating Processing sketches with code and typography and this website. The sketches and code shown were created with a basic working knowledge of Processing. Try some sketches out yourself!

 

The instructor for the class was Nick Sternberg and the students were , Rachel Peeples, Fatema Boxwala, Chris Tumaghap and Nikki Roach.
