This is a photographic series for the USC equestrian team. I tried to capture the photos in a way which shows the athleticism of the sport, beauty of the horse and emotional connection between horse and rider. I specifically focused on photographing the captain, as opposed to the whole team because I felt by following the captain individually I am better able to build the story and emotional connection between horse and rider. By focusing in it revealed the different dimensions to the relationship. The visual development of the emotional relationship helps create a more engaging and emotional connection with the audience.
