In the last year of the course, we have an internship for three months. We should work in a professional environment, and develop an essay related to our experience.
I worked at id:D. I was involved in several projects envolving the Web. Between those, I started to need to know how to work illustration, and typography on the screen to my side. The icons should work in every screen, with visual consistency in mind. This was the reason for my essay. Understanding the rendering type tecnologies available allowed me to design icons that work in every screen.
This essay was presented, both in paper, and poster formats, at the Third Typographic Meeting held in Oporto.
