For this project I made a David Bowie emoji using the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to recreate the iconic lightning bolt makeup for my emoji, I ended up using the Aladdine Sane album cover as a reference photo. For the background I put my shooting star pattern with the opacity down above a solid black layer giving it a very muted look and keeping the the emoji the center of attention.
