Abitare Monti
Composizioni residenziali: omaggio a Filippo Monti (1925-2015)
2017

The exhibition Abitare Monti celebrated the work of rationalist architect Filippo Monti (1925-2015) in his hometown, Faenza (Italy).

For the occasion a collective of young architects, photographers and designers selected
8 residential buildings designed by Monti in the city of Faenza, in order to investigate the original projects and how the tenants inhabited the spaces.

The structure of each building was digitally re-drawn and recreated with a 3D printer and the models were presented during the exhibition which took place in the month of January 2017 in Galleria della Molinella, Faenza.

8 symbols for 8 buildings.
Each synthesizes a peculiar characteristic of one of the structures.
