I interned with a freelance textile designer who is also a vendor to many big Indian brands and labels. My job at this internship was to hand paint the designs which were made on various stoles, sarees and scarves.

I got a very deep insight about hand painting on textiles and it's entire process. I learnt the difference between pigment and other adhesive based paints and how to use it.

At the end of my internship I was commissioned to create fabrics through tie and dye explorations. I had always explored tie and dye on small fabric samples, so to do tie and dye on an entire saree and other long fabrics was a learning experience for me.
