Fiji people are friendly and are very happy to welcome you especially when you are new to this country. This country offers a lot of adventure and fun if you are planning a Family vacations in Fiji.

1) Fiji time is a Thing

Fiji time is something that will frustrate you if you are from the west. You will experience unexpected delays if the things that you have planned don't go with the time. Fiji time is frustrating and baffling because Fijian people never be in hurry. As they Say "no hurry no Worry"

2) A surprising welcome at the Airport

Fiji Peoples are friendly in nature, They welcome you at the airport with a warm gesture. The airports employ smiling locals in floral shirts to serenade you on Guitar and ukulele as you pass the immigration. This is something you can only find in Fiji.

3)You will say Bula a lot

Bula is a national greeting and the meaning of that world is welcome. When you are in Fiji you hear a lot blue everywhere in the hotels, beaches, local shops etc. Fijians also say "Bula" when someone sneezes on the same way we say bless you. They Say it with gusto, just like the Fijians.

4) He, she? Same, same but different

There is no gender-specific word in Fiji when they say he that either referring men or women. Fijians also speak an 'n' or' in words that aren't spelt with one. Nadi the main entry point of Fiji is for example pronounced "Nandi". Similarly, some words are spelt with 'c' are pronounced as 'the'. e.g more (goodbye) is pronounced as "mo-they"

5) On Sunday everybody will be in Church

In Fiji, there are no of churches alongside the road and Sunday is the day when everyone is at home. Most of the locals prefer to go to churches on Sunday, they tend to dress up to go to church and the prayers can run for long hours. You can see some public confessions by people to confess their sins. The Pastor then prayed for the couple and was accepted back into the flock.
