Objective: Use Illustrator to learn the tools of portrait design. 

I used Illustrator to create a portrait of a character or person. The goal of this project was to use Adobe Illustrator to create a person with detail and shading. I chose to design Captain America and chose the colors to be duller to ensure a sense of unity within the image, and show a darker side to the character as he is portrayed in Captain America Civil War. The goal was to make Captain America look like he did in his movies. To create a realistic image I had to trace his body and facial features to create the true Captain America feeling.
