ISTD 2017: Anniversaries
'The Hidden Pandemic'
'Anniversaries appear everyday, but often when one occurs it is remembered from a historical point of view, and not seen as something that would come to repeat itself'
In response to the anniversaries brief I produced a medical style publication that is designed to discuss the 100th anniversary of the Spanish Flu Pandemic. The document discusses how the pandemic affected society in 1918, but also how the flu still affects us today. It also seeks to raise awareness of another possible pandemic, and reminds us of the dangers of the modern day flu, despite scientific advancements.
The publication was awarded a Merit.
