A trading card for former professional basketball player, Larry Bird. One of my personal favorite basketball players, and NBA all star. This card was created in Adobe Photoshop, and used a plethora of different elements and techniques. The background was created with a custom brush that is meant to mimic water, and the circular shapes were made with the shape tool. The color scheme is red, white, and blue as Larry Bird played on the USA national team. The text for both the "Larry Bird" and "7" are custom texts with drop shadows. In the large image, Larry Bird was cut out and the Celtics logo was placed behind him, this is because when Larry was not playing for the USA he was playing for the Celtics. A minuscule outer glow was added to him to create more emphasis. Lastly, a white stroke was added to the image to further devote the image to the card's color scheme.
