52 Tales Player Cards
52 Tales is a collection of 52 playing cards depicting legends, passions, facts and folklore on Singapore. Just as there are two sides to very tale, each card is a collaboration between a pair of artists from the Band of Doodlers. Expect elaborate stories painted of historical events or visual feasts of local favourite dishes. From the story of Sang Nila Utama to the reason the Singapore Flyer rotates upstream, over 100 local and international artists co-created to give their own spin to each uniquely Singapore tale.
Band of Doodlers is a doodling community made up of artists with keen interests in
doodling, drawing and illustration. They are “white space bandits” - on a
mission to rid the world of blank spaces by filling them with characters
and doodles.
