VOLCANIX - For the Lava of Kicks
I designed a new concept for Nike, that incorporated Earths most vicious phenomenon, which is volcanic-eruptions. I also drew inspiration for my patterns and textures from places like Mount Kilauea in Hawaii, Mexico, the Mayon Volcano in the Philippines and El Salvador, which are known to have the most active volcanoes.
What ensued were several limited edition kicks with lava and tropical patterns. I decided to use some of Nike's most celebrated shoes like the Air Max, Air Jordan retro 1s, the Air Jordan 5's and the Air Jordan 4 Retros.
The tagline; For the Lava of Kicks. A play on words - "For the Love of Kicks"
