Bili Hu Indian Estate Coffees

Bili Hu
Bili Hu is born out of a passion for good coffees and their unavailability in the domestic market.
The purpose is to bring to your cup, unique and interesting coffees that were meant only for export until now. Bill Hu strives to sensitise your palate to premium standalone coffees instead of the blends available in the market. The coffees offered have been created with close collaboration with some of the best Curers, Roasters and coffee estate owners across India.
The word Bili Hu comes from Kannada - a language spoken in the state of Karnataka where coffees were first grown in India. ‘Bili hu’ is a white flower symbolic of the coffee plant flower, that blooms to signify the harvest season.
I created this typography based unit for a friend Bharat Singhal who is the founder of Bili Hu. The name itself made me so curious and inspired to create a unique and sophisticated identity for his brand.
