AHRI - Introduction
In 2016 I went to Durban, South Africa, as a videomaker. There were two important institutes in the middle of a merging, and they asked me to make a video and an interview explaining the potential of this brand new organization: the Africa Health Research Institute. It is the state-of-the-art research center on TB and HIV, and its mission is to erase these two illnesses from the world - starting from KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, which is the most suffering region in the whole world from these diseases. AHRI is the son of Africa Centre, specialized in demographics and antropological research, and K-RITH, which is accounting for biotechnology and medical research.
