Beatrice Morrow is an 80-unit multifamily low income apartment building along MLK Boulevard. The five story development includes one, two, and three bedroom units, 2,500 square feet of community amenities, and ground floor commercial space. The ground floor space is developed as incubator office space as well as an open marketplace to support local small businesses. There is a central courtyard that provides outdoor space for the residents. As a former brownfield site, the development of this project draws inspiration from the historic neighborhood in NE Portland and is a much needed reinvestment in the African American community.
