Tuned for speed and ready for heart-pounding sprint finishes, ARO5 is an aerodynamic and comfortably lightweight design with BOA’s 360 degree fit system, MIPS Brain Protection, and a moisture wicking brow pad.
We had the tremendous opportunity to work with Stept Studios on a new key visual for Oakley's upcoming helmet – the ARO 5. The theme of the visual focused on breaking records and so our goal was to take the concept of a helmet crashing through a digital race clock and turn it into a realistic visual. We used CG to simulate and render the glass being broken by the helmet and were provided photography of the ARO 5 by Stept for compositing and final retouching.
