O Festival Cenas Curtas, realizado desde 2000, tem como objetivo estimular a criatividade, reunir artistas, revelar novos talentos e proporcionar ao público uma diversidade de linguagens teatrais. Cada cena selecionada, tem duração máxima de 15 minutos e durante os quatro dias de festival, o público presente elege as melhores cenas de cada noite.Atualmente, o Festival Cenas Curtas é considerado um polo eficiente de estímulo criativo para artistas de Belo Horizonte e de outros Estados do país.
The Festival Cenas Curtas, held since 2000, aims to stimulate creativity, bring together artists, reveal new talents and provide the public with a diversity of theatrical languages. Each selected scene has a maximum duration of 15 minutes and during the four days of the festival, the audience chooses the best scenes of each night. Currently, the Festival Cenas Curtas is considered an efficient pole of creative stimulation for artists from Belo Horizonte and other states of the country.
