Conversion of two rooms of an old house, in a day space with dining and kitchen, as a continuous space.

Think process: The clients wished for a day room visualy-conected with the back yard. After bringing down a thin wall between the two existing rooms the space whas a bit to long and two narrow; thus the ceiling rithm that creates the ilusion of wide space and brackes the perception of perspective.

The users wanted a simple and clean space that can accomodate some home apliances and from there comes a single wall mountet volume that dominates the space hierarchy and separates visualy the living space from the dining and kitchen area. The dark textured wall accomodates the two main rooms of the house, one hidden from the guests by the wall mounted volume - this is the private room, accesible from the kitchen area.

The lights creates different types of ambient perception and are fitted so they function by lighting different areas to keep things practical and user-friendly.
