Neste trabalho propus-me criar uma linha gráfica para o álbum de uma banda.
Comecei primeiro por saber o nome do álbum e procurar toda a simbologia a ele ligada. O álbum intitulava-se “Mitra”. Mitra, segundo a mitologia grega simbolizava o deus do sol. A partir desta informação criei o conceito, baseando-me em estátuas e criando grafismos mais contemporâneos, tendo sempre em conta o uso do amarelo como representação do sol.
In this work I set out to create a graphic line for a band's album. I first started by understanding the name of the album, in search of all the symbols related to it. The album was called “Mitra”. According to Greek mythology, Mithra symbolized the God of the Sun. From this information I created the concept, based on statues and creating more contemporary graphics, always bearing in mind the use of yellow as a symbol of the sun.
