These CAD images show the concept of a Bicycle alarm lock. The principle of this design is a password/pin lock function whereby the user creates a pincode, synced with a mobile phone which locks the bike through breakage magentic connections within the material. The bike lock is connected to the user's mobile phone and if/when the bike lock is broken into, it sends an alert to that user's phone informing them of a breakage on the lock. Other methods of notifying of a breakage is that of a simple 3 attempts system much like on mobile phone passwords where the user gets 3 attempts to input a password which then locks them out after 3 attempts, in the bike locks case, this sets of an alarm alerting those nearby.
