Movie Poster: The Run

Students in the Digital Media program at the University of Houston were asked to create a movie poster for a genre of their preference. Using Adobe Photoshop, I was able to create a movie poster whose main competition is the Fast and Furious franchise. Research led me to learn about 7 elements of a good movie poster design, which I tried to implement in my movie poster. Attention, Iconography, Interest, Appeal, Style, Lasting Appeal, and Recognizability are the 7 elements of a good movie poster. However, my movie poster does not contain Lasting Appeal and Recognizability because the movie has not been out for a long period of time, nor does it portray a sequel to a previous installment.
