Para a cadeira de Design Editorial I foi-nos pedido que paginássemos um livro a nossa escolha. Escolhi A Náusea de Jean Paul Sartre, até porque o livro me transmitia muitas metáforas visuais. O meu intuito foi jogar com as palavras e dar-lhes textura, fazê-las criar de facto a sensação que descreviam, que saltassem nas páginas. No fundo, jogar com a tipografia.
For Editorial Design I class we were asked to redesign a book of our choice. I chose Jean Paul Sartre's, Nausea. My intention was to give texture to the words, make them actually give the sensation they were describing, make them dance on the pages. At the end, I wanted to play with typography.
Through the lack of attaching myself to words,
my thoughts remain n e b u l o u s most of the time.
They sketch (vague, pleasant) shapes and then
are s w a l l owedup;
I forget them almost immediately.
