I've been working on designing a deck of cards. It's based off of Leonardo da Vinci's artwork, as well as some 16th century architecture. 

Here are a few of the card faces-- Joker and ace of spades, as well as some variations on back color.

Here are some 3D renders of the tuck box that I modeled in Blender. Looks pretty slick!

Here's a spread of the prototype I had made. 

I think the edges of the card pattern have a really mesmerizing effect when they are spread this way.
