An experimental study of layout and printing.
Herb Lubalin was an american graphic designer with focus on typography. His works had an enormous authority, conferred by line variations, different shapes with letters and, above all, an extremely intelligence with ambiguous compositions. Starting from some of his beautiful works, I designed a card's deck with inspirations in his compositions. This project was an intense study of layout, pattern design and printing. Most of the shapes were taken from Herb's works, like "Sound of Music", "Beard" and some of his fonts. In the end, my appreciation for his work has grown, bringing him and his methodology as an inspiration for my design.
