The Story behind the idea:

The song is an interior monologue addressed to God. Laura is looking for help and answers. She dives into her thoughts and starts talking to a representation of her sub-conscious in the form of a miniature alter ego. It all happens in the comfortable setting of her parent's house where she grew. The book she takes from the library has to be opened to start a journey into her mind. She doensn't get all the answers she need but her path remains open.

We decided to translate this story into images starting from the door entrance of the house and a walk through its corridor, that represent the decision of Laura to start a journey into a private place of her mind. She firmly goes looking for a specific book in the library but when she finally finds it, she doesn't have the courage to open it. She doesn't put it back, but place it on hold on the desk and keeps talking/singing to herself. After a while she finally finds the strenght to face the content of the book that magically opens and starts playing to her. After the instrumental part she begins to sing along with the band and, as she goes forward, she then finally meets her deepest thoughts, represented by a miniature version of herself. A duet of questions and answers... a cathartic journey that will not end with the song but that will remain open as the mind of Laura is face to such great matters.
