A little illustration project, nothing out of the ordinary. Wanted to do a PSY picture before it's 2013 and everybody forgets about poor little him. 

 

He was the highilght of our year, so he deserves the spot.

Here is the lineart. Pretty simple. I did not like very much how PSY himself turned out (he should be a little chubbier), but the chicks look fine. I had fun drawing them and it shows... oh, and I added a giant dragon head in the background... just because.

Now some colors! these are just the basic, flat colors. I kind of dig that blue suit.

Then added some lights. I wanted to keep it simple so this is all the coloring that will be applied, just so I can keep that very cartoonish style.

Then a fading background, to give it some atmosphere and center the atention on PSY and the gals. I chose brown because is a neutral color that does not stand out in any way (no offense to all the brown lovers).

Some special effects to add that extre "omph!" to it. Smoke, lights.. I don't know, I was just olaying around. I like how it turned out, though. But it needs something else.... just a little bit more...
