I am proud to present you my recent experimental, personal project - the Golden Tears.
It was born from my fascination with the gold and black combination.
And I have chosen the most beautiful medium I could - woman's body.

It turned out to be my favourite one - I love how this simple shape came out to be very intriguing.

Acherontia atropos.
When I was younger I was fascinated by insects. The Death's-head hawkmoth was one of my favourite ones, although I have never found it in nature. The skull shape makes it a very intriguing species.

Flower of Life.
While developing this project another idea came to my mind. What if these gold painted patterns are actually jewellery painted directly on skin? Or maybe more like jewellery shadows. Or actually jewellery tattoos. That's how this illustration came to life.

Face lighted by morning sunrays breaking through the window blinds. In gold.

Wireframe.
I just couldn't resist to make this one. A lowpoly-like wire shape mapped on the face.
This one was tricky to make. I finally discovered that it required camera mapping to get the proper, straight and uniform line effect.
