Our desire was to produce a prototype of PICO™ to showcase the product in a tangible way. Something to engage guests when they visit us, making them experiment the magic of a deeply interactive experience.

We wanted to create a new language for the release of scientific, didactic and specialized information. A combination of aesthetic and knowledge, perfect for any shared space, that could instantly and magically become a place for learning and conversation.

We picked the Solar System as a general theme of interest, then we created an interactive planetarium in which, as soon as person walked by, LED lights, sounds, mechanical effects and a rotation system were activated. The interaction between users and three-dimensional objects (planets) activated graphics and dynamic contents on the central screen, visualizing information on the Solar Systems. On the wheel of the zodiac we designed capacitive illustrations, that is sensitive to the touch: if touched, each activated a video projection dedicated to the chosen constellation. Finally, thanks to a button, it was possible to print a specific flyer or an informative brochure.
