Font Specimen Book: Otis College

This is a 12-page final assignment for my Typography I course at Otis College. The goal of the project is to create a font specimen book is to show how a font can express emotion by only using different cuts from its font family. In this case I chose Chalet, a font from House Industries extensive collection.

In addition to a font, you must chose one subject to give meaning to the font. I felt no one else but Bruce Willis could explain the meaning of Chalet, particularly Tokyo, Los Angeles & Cologne.

Although illustrations were not mandatory, I included them to help set the mood. Most of my Typography classes were done exclusively in inDesign.. however, this particular project was done 5% inDesign, 10% Illustrator & 85% Photoshop.

I feel it turned out pretty well.

Below are brief instructions:
       - Only 1 Font to be used: Chalet.
       - Must be 12-pages; spreads are not necessary.
       - Dimensions are 5 x 5.
       - No images, but elements can be used.
