CAN U HEAR ME
Type could be recognized as symbol of language. The language could be seen as hybrid of speaking and writing. Speaking could be more dynamic, vivid, while writing seems to be relatively static and stable. We always speak a language, but can language response to us? The process of speaking language could be a dialogue between language and the user. I try to give not only ‘anthropomorphic’, but ‘vocalmorphic’ characters to the type, and depict the narrative dialogue between us. I recorded my own voice from whispering to shouting, and visualized the change of letter shapes in response to it. With voice volume changes, we can see the letters change from visible to invisible.
