CONCEPT
Homosexuality is not a disorder that can be healed through medical resources, or a mental illness that can be cured with psychological treatment. Even though, today, same-sex marriage is legally permitted in quite a few countries. Coming out to parents is still a difficult journey, especially under the oppression of family expectation and the fear of disallowance.

Unspeakable Love is a 3 series of folding books respectively represent: Identity, sexuality and love. Using 3 daily objects as a metaphor to describe the 3 themes, and the inner page is filled with pencil drawing words, surrounded by those objects. Each book is designed with different length, from short to long, which depicts the never-ending of 'Coming out.'  Paper is Color Plan Cobalt from G.F Smith, using silver ink print with the Riso machine, creating a looming visual effect. The cover applied with thermal print, giving it a touch of imperfection, yet reflecting a slight of silver glow.
