Beginning with an analysis of present-day Seattle, the course explored stimuli to the urban and natural landscape over time. While experimenting with textures and shapes in the form of collage, the course asked students to predict changes in Seattle at 2250 and 2500. The project culminated with the final iteration of the city being brought to life within a three-dimensional hand-carved book.
