PROJECT SUMMARY
The Shazam application for iPhone allows users to quickly identify songs. While the original Shazam app provides great functionality it suffers from confusing hierarchy, an unnatural task flow, inconstant interface styling, and intrusive advertising. These problems prevent users from enjoying the Shazam experience.
The new Shazam interface forgoes tabbed content areas and instead focuses on the utility of the app. Unnecessary list views are replaced with elements tailored to the content and junk drawer options are removed entirely. A streamlined UI gives users confidence and enjoyable details remove the boredom of waiting to identify a song.
