SVA Maske - Advertising campaign

Makeup Arts
Mental health problems mask the real person
Advertising campaign for SVA Zürich

In Autumn 2017 our team was commissioned by tbd. agency from Switzerland to make an advertising campaign for SVA Zürich company. The task was interesting and complicated - we had to illustrate, make up and shoot 5 models as characters with mental illnesses.

Especially at the workplace, mental health problems are increasing and are now among the most important reasons why employees are being on sick leave. Mental problems change the behavior so strongly that one does not even recognize persons who are close to them. The creative concept set is therefore: "Mental problems cover the true face."

Our team developed the following characters according to 5 types of mental health problems: Mean, Bipolar, Big-Mouthed, Liar (Snake), Depressed.

Working process
During the working process it has taken about 5-6 hours to apply the make-up to model's face. Models had to sit still during the all session with the eyes closed before being photographed and filmed.
