Creating a animation takes quite a bit of planning before you can actually get started in After effects and creating the animation. First things first, I made a story board of what I wanted scene to be. I wanted at first to be a hot dog on a beach with a towel as a hotdog bun where the hotdog would drop the bun to reveal the hotdog in a bikini.

Coming from this I came up with the assets that were needed to start working on the animation. Once I started taking it into illistarator I saw how much of a struggle it was for me to get the animation to move in the manner that I was wanting. I decided to scrap it after hitting a wall and to save it for another time. 

From this point I decided to work on a sun that would have a face and rays that would move around. It was hard to set aside this project but I know that I can always come back to it. I was able to make this illustration move using tools like code and the puppet pin tool
