The low table «The Wave»
My student work (2th course, Department of Furniture Design, The Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Fine Arts), 2015
The water element inspires. Waves fascinate by their strain, dynamics and force, but with their softness at the same time. This inspiration resulted in the occasional table “Wave”. A smooth forming line gives an impression of motion and forms a continuous plane that turns into volume. The chiseled plywood sphere is an accenting structural element that connects the top and bottom of the table.
The table is made using the technology of bending multilayer plywood. It is safe for humans and the environment, because it is made from environmentally friendly raw materials. A safe lacquer coating on acrylic base protects the table from moisture.
This object is intended for use in the interior of residential and public spaces.

Водная стихия вдохновляет. Волны завораживают напряжением и динамикой, силой и в то же время мягкостью. Плавная линия стола создает впечатление движения, образует плоскость, переходящую в объем. Акцентный конструктивный элемент, соединяющий верхнюю и нижнюю части стола, — точёный шар из фанеры.
Столик выполнен по технологии гнутья многослойной фанеры. Он безопасен для человека и окружающей среды, так как изготовлен из экологически чистого сырья. Безопасное лаковое покрытие на акриловой основе защищает стол от влаги.
Данный объект предназначен для использования в интерьере жилых и общественных пространств.
