Dungog is a small township renowned for its forests, mountains, picturesque river villages and now its quality craft beer. Tinshed Brewery is located on the main street at the base of the hills and is dedicated to producing the perfect craft beer. With all beers being brewed on site, you'll never find better when visiting this restaurant, bar, and brewery.
I was excited to collaborate on the brand identity for the newly opened Brewery and its wholesale beers. My goal was to not only share knowledge of these fine brews but invite a new audience out to the Brewery after visiting the famous bushland of The Barrington Tops.

A unique hand-drawn design was delivered to match the region of Dungog. The iconic hills surrounding the township and the household rainwater tank transformed into a brewing vat instantly shares a rural setting for the identity.
The custom thick and thin slab serif lettering in the Logotype mimics the contours of the rusty corrugated iron within the brewery which shares this humble brewers residence. Chunky serif lettering with minimal highlight and shade effects were introduced to enhance the name of the brewery against its illustrated surroundings.
Hand-painted display and wayfaring signage were created to enhance the rural setting of the Tinshed Brewery. Each being painted on custom painted effects of rust and iron for an additional country Australian aesthetic.
