From Z to X.
Sony Xperia Z series refers to the flagship Android smartphones and tablets in the Sony Xperia series manufactured by Sony Mobile. The first phone of the Z line up was announced by Sony at CES 2013 featuring a unique Omni-Balance design, which is focused on creating balance and symmetry in all directions. Xperia Z has subtly rounded edges and reflective surfaces on all sides which are held together by a skeleton frame made from glass fiber polyamide.
On February 25 2016 Sony discontinued the Xperia Z series officially in favor of the Sony Xperia X series. The X series are now representative of the future of the Xperia Brand.
This concept aims to attain all the great features of the Z Line considering Sony brand & technology heritage and merging it together on a new approach with the purpose of celebrating what Sony truly represents.
