This logo has been designed for Indian Railways with the consideration of all the services/facilities provided by Railway Authority as well as for the unification of diverse cultures of India.

Graphical Construction: The diameter of the circular form is 40 cm and this circle shows the Earth. This circle comprises a hands form, Indian Emblem, Railway Track, Sun and Stars; and Tri-colours on the Running Train. The text “भारतीय रेल & Indian Railways” has been written using negative space.

Theme Synopsis:

Blue colour demonstrates the depth of usability, consistency and trustworthiness of the Railway system.

Orange-yellow colour states the reliability and hospitality of the system; and the shape holding this colour symbolizes the selfless job of the Corporation.

Brown indicates the colour of earth and signifies that Railway services are provided at ground. It also demonstrates the Synergy of the Railways and Earth together.

Black shows the elegance of the Corporation.

Iconography: Railways is available for services at all-time exactly like the sun rises every morning and stays for whole day and stars uncover in the evening and keeps shining in whole night.
