The product that embodies the fundamentals of the (1923 Godrej) Storwel range and allows customisation while keeping costs and wastage low. There is a Japanese design philosophy of “Super Normal”, i.e if you think of a product or concept that is already “normal” to the world, and then try to make it really good ; you make it Super Normal and that is exactly what we tried to aim for with System 21.

We aimed to enable users to be part of the design process so as to complete what we start on the drawing board. The modularity of the system gives users the flexibility and control to create storage that suits their needs, and fits their space well. With roots in Storwel essentials — honest, long-lasting steel construction that is elegant in its directness and simplicity, we created a modular storage and display system that blends seamlessly in modern homes and offices. System 21 is a set of bent sheet-metal components - side panels, shelves, drawers, baskets, etc. , that can be configured into an object as small as a bedside table to a grand display wall that stretches across spaces. Users get storage solutions just the way they want and at the back end we make and sell them components in a package, creating the most favourable conditions at both ends. Assembly is completed with just one tool and in almost no time with practically no instructions. Designed to have a minimal visual presence; it provides a subtle, stable structure for holding valued possessions.
